Experts from various institutions collaboratively developed three policy briefs in support of the African Peace Mission and Ukraine Peace Formula.
These briefs address UN reform, the safety of nuclear power stations, and the protection of children during armed conflicts.
The recommendations were presented at the seminar “The African Peace Mission and Ukraine Peace Formula: Strategic Engagements on Regional Security, Nuclear Safety, and Human Rights” ahead of the African Union Mid-Year Coordination Meeting taking place on 18-21 July in Accra
In 1929 the Soviet Union started the policy of forced collectivization. To suppress the resistance & to ensure profit from the grain sales Joseph Stalin imposed on Ukraine a plan to extract 4,2 million tonnes of food, a plan that had to be “performed fully and unquestionably, at all costs”. Throughout the Holodomor, when people were dying from starvation, the Soviet Union continued to export grain. Meanwhile, all food that security forces could find in a household was taken from the peasants. They were not allowed to travel outside their villages to prevent them from finding food in other areas.
The Forest is about the contradictions of human ambition and the ways of nature; lofty and profane things; love and fidelity. Romance and tragedy often go hand in hand, but The Forest portrays interpretation that gives everything a second chance.
Integrates live dance which explores themes of nature, ambition, love, and resilience, vivid animation and multi-dimensional storytelling, creating an immersive experience where everyone can engage actively or observe at their own pace. On the stage and on a screen (everything is shown from above), as if from the top of the forest.
