11 March — «First Ukrain­ian Fes­ti­val» that took place in Cape Town. Dur­ing the Fes­ti­val over 1000 South Africans learned more about his­to­ry of Ukraine, oppor­tu­ni­ties for eco­nom­ic coop­er­a­tion, learned more about Ukrain­ian cul­ture, learned to dance hopak, enjoyed Ukrain­ian music and poet­ry, learned to make Pysanka’s, dolls, write Ukrain­ian let­ters and many more. Dur­ing the Fes­ti­val per­formed rep­re­sen­ta­tives of the band of inter­nal­ly dis­placed peo­ple from Donet­sk “Dyvy­na”
