The Ukrainian Institute and the Ukrainian Association of South Africa invite you to attend Living the Experience of War: A Youth Perspective—an event exploring the realities of post-occupation recovery and resilience.

The event is dedicated to the challenges of recovery and resilience. It aims to unite the voices of young people from Ukraine and South Africa to unlock a way out of the crisis and work together for a secure future.
Program:
On 28 March, a panel discussion will be held featuring representatives from Ukrainian organisations and South African youth. They will share their insights and experiences on the role of youth in times of crisis and community rebuilding, as well as reflect on how young people experience and respond to the process of de-occupation.

The event will also feature a photo exhibition showcasing works by children from de-occupied territories and images of youth initiatives focused on rebuilding and volunteering. Notably, the exhibition will include works from the renowned media platform Ukrainer.
