25 Jan 2020 – in two cities Pretoria and Cape Town, the Junior club of Ukrainian Association of South Africa “Ukrainian School in South Africa” has opened its doors for children 3–14 years to learn Ukrainian language, dancing, singing and culture.
This is official opening of the Ukrainian school in Pretoria which already enrolled 14 children. But the number of children is expected to grow, as it is estimated that there are around 1000 Ukrainians in Gauteng province. At the opening children and parents could meet teachers and learn more about the learning processes.
In Cape Town, the first Ukrainian school in South Africa has been officially launched on 12th March 2016. It started with Ukrainian language classes only, but now the curriculum has been expanded to Ukrainian folk-dancing, music and art.
In February the new branch of Ukrainian school will open in Somerset West, where Ukrainian language classes will be open for adults.

25 січня — у двох містах Преторії та Кейптауні свої двері відкрив молодіжний клуб Української асоціації в ПАР «Українська школа в ПАР», де діти 3–14 років зможуть вивчати українську мову, танці, музику та культуру.
Це перший навчальний день для Української школи в м.Преторія, яка вже має 14 учнів. Але кількість учнів буде збільшуватися, адже у Гаутенгу проживає близько 1000 українців. Під час відкриття діти і батьки познайомилися з викладачами та дізналися більше про навчання в школі.
У Кейптауні перша Українська школа в ПАР було відкрита 12 березня 2016 року. Школа розпочалася з вивчення української мови. Зараз у школі діти вивчають також українські танці, музику та мистецтво.
У лютому 2020 планується відкриття ще одного відділння Української школи у м. Сомерсет Вест, де українську мову зможуть вивчати дорослі.
